EZ Step Products was founded by Terry Nelson in 2016, who grew up on a family farm in Minnesota where he learned the value of hard work, doing things right, and using top-quality materials. As America shifted towards a “throwaway” mentality, Terry recognized the need for a ruggedly overbuilt by design, long-lasting, and versatile plant-support system. “I didn’t want to create another low-quality product designed to fail at the end of the season,” Nelson said. “I set out to design a system that would work for any grower and last for a lifetime .” After extensive testing and refining, we landed on the perfect formula: American-made steel for the posts and reinforced, UV-stabilized high-grade polymer for the EZ Rings. In 2019, the US Patent and Trademark Office granted Terry’s EZ Step-In Post design a patent (US Patent 10,329,793 B2), recognizing its uniqueness in the marketplace.
