For early crops, plant seeds indoors or greenhouse. If possible, keep soil temperature over 75 degrees germination, then reduce to about 60 degrees. For direct seeding in the garden, sow 3-4 seeds, 12” apart, ½” deep, trimming to one plant in each group.  

Late Flat Dutch – Heirloom 105 days 

Firm flat topped, blue green heads weighing up to 12 pounds. It’s the sweetest and juiciest in the fall.
