Description

Lettuce – Seed Count 1200-1400

Lettuce is a hardy cool weather crop and can be planted with your earliest worked soil. Germinates best below 70 degrees and grows best at 60-65 degrees.  

 

Butterhead Lettuce  

Buttercrunch – Heirloom organic 75 days  

This old favorite variety is more heat tolerant. Its small compact hearts blanch to yellow. Sow butterhead lettuce sparsely thinning to 8” apart and let it form heads.
